Following the success of Phase 1, we are now fundraising for Phase 2 to advance accessible workspaces. We collaborate with organizations to ensure workplaces are inclusive for everyone, promoting diversity and equal opportunity. Our efforts include installing ramps, implementing braille signage, and converting contracts and manuals into alternative formats for businesses
At Embrace Unity Canada, one of our core causes is partnering with law firms to fund free legal aid for individuals facing hardship. Together, we ensure equitable access to essential support, empowering communities through impactful initiatives.
During COVID-19, we took proactive steps to ensure accessibility for all. We transformed essential reading materials into online formats and alternative options such as large print or braille. These materials were then mailed to membership holders of organizations like CNIB, RAPLIQ, and DABC, spreading crucial awareness and information where it's needed most.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Embrace Unity Canada delivered 96,000 masks nationwide, funded legal aid for over 4,000 individuals, and converted 8,000+ documents to alternative digital formats. These efforts protected Canadians, ensured legal support, and promoted accessibility, demonstrating our commitment to community resilience.
We successfully ensured that residents in rural, remote, and northern locations gained access to the internet via Starlink infrastructure. This initiative provided rural communities with the necessary knowledge to set up their systems, covering the first year's subscription and equipment costs. We proudly bridged the digital divide and empowered these communities with the connectivity they deserved, promoting equality and access for all.

At Embrace Unity Canada, we are a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting unity and inclusivity among diverse communities. Our mission is to bridge societal gaps caused by differences in race, religion, financial status, disabilities, language, education, age, sexual orientation, and gender identity and expression. We believe in the power of collaboration and partnerships, particularly with law firms that provide essential legal services to individuals facing hardships, to promote inclusivity across Canada. We are committed to raising awareness about the importance of understanding and respecting differences among people of colour, race, sexual orientation, and more. Our aim is to dispel common misconceptions and foster a culture of acceptance and understanding.
